So Much for the Flowers

Jordan and I went out for a bite to eat tonight and then through the car wash. We went into the car wash to get the bugs off my nasty vehicle thinking we would have time to get home before the storm hit. We were wrong. It was pouring rain when we got out and we were in a hurry to get home to get the dog inside. Half way home, the hail started. New car, hail, wind, dog outside, slow poke scared of rain driving ahead of us.... not a good combination. We made it home and Jordan bundled up in a sleeping bag (this would be when he should thank me for not ever moving anything from the garage to the house) and went out to rescue Dakota from his kennel. I explained to Dakota that hail happens when dogs are naughty so he better be good from now on. He was shook up, but not as much as we were I don't think. The car doesn't seem to have any hail damage :) but the beautiful plants that were finally planted and doing great are now trashed and the entire house is covered with shredded leaves.
